Description Position Summary: The Operations Project Manager is responsible for leading and owning key operational workflows across the organization. This role serves as the primary point of contact for event workflow systems, volunteer coordination, and a portfolio of cross-functional process improvement initiatives, driving each from implementation through ongoing management. Responsibilities: Primary: Event Workflow Management – 50% · Lead the implementation of FMX Software for event workflow management · Develop and deliver training on workflow processes and system usage · Manage and maintain the configuration of the event workflow system · Take full ownership of the workflow and serve as the single point of contact Volunteer Coordination & Management – 50% · Implement and manage the Volunteer module within Veracross · Develop, manage, and own end-to-end volunteer processes · Assess and understand volunteer needs across departments · Match qualified volunteers to organizational needs effectively · Manage volunteer expectations and ensure a positive experience · Actively recruit volunteers to support organizational programs Other: Additional Projects · As the organization grows and the primary projects are completed, additional project may include: · Kitchen Process Management — document and optimize kitchen operations · HR/Finance Process — support workflow improvements in HR and finance functions · After School Process — manage and refine after-school program workflows · Intranet — assist with content management and maintenance of the organizational intranet · Point of Sale — oversee POS system processes and coordination Additional Responsibilities: The tasks listed in this job description are not all encompassing. Requirements Education: Required Education: · Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience Experience: Required Experience: · 2+ years of experience in project coordination, operations, or a related role · Experience with workflow management or facility management software (FMX or similar) preferred Skills: · Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with volunteers, staff, and stakeholders · Demonstrated ability to own processes end-to-end with minimal supervision · Comfortable with technology platforms and learning new software systems · Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities Travel: This position requires no travel. Working Conditions: This job operates in a professional office environment and will routinely use standard office equipment such computers, photocopiers, and smartphones. The work environment also involves working in a Preschool-12 Private Christian School and Evangelical Church environment and all employees are expected to have a demonstrated and personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Working Hours: Typically, employees are expected to work during normal hours and days of business, between Monday and Friday. Specific expectations for each position will be communicated by the supervisor of this position. Occasional weekend and evening hours may be required. This position works 40hours per week and 12months of the year.
