What You Will Do As the NPD Project Manager for India, you will play a critical role in driving growth, profitability, and business continuity across the India market. You will lead initiatives spanning inter-affiliate (cross-region) supply as well as in-region project execution aligned with India leadership priorities. This role is central to orchestrating end-to-end collaboration across cross-functional teams—including Value Stream, Commercial, IMO Leadership, R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain—to ensure seamless execution of New Product Development (NPD) initiatives. As part of the India Innovation and Supply Chain Excellence team, you will act as a key enabler of the Consumer Business Strategy. Key Responsibilities Lead cross-functional project teams in a matrix environment from project approval through successful completion, partnering across Supply Chain, manufacturing sites (internal and external), Integrated Planning, Strategic Sourcing, Commercial Marketing, and Quality Assurance Drive robust project risk assessment and management across all stages of the SPEED (Smart Project Execution & Delivery) framework Collaborate with stakeholders to assess project feasibility, define Final Project Objectives (FPO), evaluate investments and resource requirements, and develop detailed execution plans and timelines Proactively identify and communicate scope changes (“trigger events”) to senior leadership, along with clear recommendations and alternative solutions Conduct forward-looking analysis to identify acceleration opportunities and strengthen the overall business case, considering end-to-end impacts across Plan, Source, Make, and Deliver—both short and long term Facilitate and lead core team meetings, ensuring strong communication, alignment, and collaboration across all stakeholders Anticipate risks early and lead the development of mitigation strategies to safeguard project commitments while minimizing business and supply chain impact. Escalate issues in a timely manner with clear options and recommendations Ensure strict adherence to governance frameworks, providing regular updates and escalation reports to keep stakeholders informed and aligned. What We Are Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred 12–15 years of relevant professional experience with strong cross-functional exposure (e.g., R&D, Engineering, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance) Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix organization Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience working in GMP and/or ISO-regulated environments preferred Solid understanding of New Product Development (NPD) and Lifecycle Management Experience using Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools Knowledge of Process Excellence methodologies Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end project/program management lifecycle PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus Position Requirements: Strong project management and execution capabilities Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving approach High attention to detail with strong organizational skills Ability to develop basic business cases and understand financial implications and end-to-end business impact Resilience and ability to perform under pressure while managing changing priorities and tight deadlines Self-driven with the ability to independently lead and deliver outcomes Strong follow-through to ensure timely closure of actions Operational and commercial acumen Kenvue is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
