About the role We have an opportunity for a Project Manager to be part of our Project Management Office, Technology and Communication Services Command. The Project Manager leads and manages project teams to develop, deliver, monitor and evaluate a portfolio of strategic projects, to achieve project outcomes, and support achievement of organisational objectives. We are recruiting experienced project managers to lead complex, multi‑stream initiatives across a diverse ICT portfolio, including enterprise systems, network and infrastructure modernisation, cybersecurity uplift, digital transformation, and end‑user technology as one of several key streams. In this role, you will drive the planning, coordination, governance and delivery of high‑impact ICT projects that enable strategic, operational and risk‑based outcomes for the organisation. You will work across multiple programs simultaneously, navigating interdependencies, managing stakeholders at all levels, and ensuring strong alignment to NSWPF project governance, security requirements and enterprise architecture. You will bring demonstrated expertise in ICT project management within large, complex environments, with a proven ability to shape project direction, manage resources, oversee vendor delivery, and ensure rigorous risk, benefits, and change management practices. Your ability to translate business needs into actionable project plans, maintain disciplined governance, and deliver outcomes across diverse technology domains will be essential to the success of major NSWPF initiatives. These roles require strong knowledge of ICT delivery methodologies, enterprise technology environments, and effective program governance. You will support the integration of new and emerging capabilities across critical infrastructure, corporate systems, and operational technologies, ensuring all project pathways align with organisational strategy, standards and compliance obligations.
