The Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N), established in 2010, focuses on systems-level research for tropical megacities. It conducts translational research across the energy value chain, from generation to innovative end-use solutions, driven by industrialization and deployment. ERI@N hosts multiple Interdisciplinary Research Programmes and Living labs that facilitate large-scale technology deployment, enabling validation and demonstration of real-world applications.
The role seeks a dynamic Project Manager to lead the Sustainable Built Environment research programme. This multidisciplinary initiative integrates engineering, architecture, urban planning, policy, business, and social impact to drive sustainability advancements in the built environment. The ideal candidate should have an entrepreneurial mindset and a background in product design, industrial design, entrepreneurship, policy research, or urban planning. They will bridge technological innovation with policy and market applications to ensure research delivers real-world impact.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The Project Manager will oversee research projects, ensuring deliverables are met on schedule and within budget. They will collaborate with agencies, NTU researchers, and companies to align research outcomes with national interests. Responsibilities include guiding the development of innovative products, assessing the impact of regulations and economic trends on research, and organizing workshops to foster innovation.
