We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our team at Oak Furnitureland’s head office in Swindon. This is a hybrid role, with two days a week in the office and three from home. You’ll be responsible for managing a variety of business-critical projects across multiple departments—such as Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced Retail environment, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and is confident in delivering projects from start to finish. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Experienced Project Manager that has worked within retail, in a fast-paced environment
Delivered on a variety of projects across various business functions
Ability to challenge and suggest innovative solutions
Knowledge of principles, methods, techniques & tools associated with the project lifecycle
Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead multi-functional teams
Comprehensive understanding of project budgeting and cost control
A good understanding of software development and web technologies
Working knowledge of project management software
A project management qualification would be desirable

Responsibilities

Lead the planning and implementation of projects.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Develop full-scale project plans, including detailed tasks, timelines, and resource allocation.
Effectively manage project teams, providing leadership, guidance, and support.
Monitor and track project progress, identifying and addressing potential risks and issues.
Implement and manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs, as needed.
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a timely and transparent manner.
Ensure adherence to project management best practices and company standards.
Conduct project reviews and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Oversee project closure activities, including documentation, reporting, and knowledge transfer.
