POST SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to oversee the restoration of the historic Old Library Building during a maternity cover period. This is a unique opportunity to manage a high-profile heritage project, ensuring the successful delivery of restoration works that preserve the building’s legacy for future generations.
This high visibility role requires highly developed professional, strategic, operational, cost, contract and project management skills to deliver the University’s ongoing major capital development programme. The role involves coordinating multiple stakeholders, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring compliance with heritage and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will bring expertise in project management and a passion for heritage conservation.
Reporting to the Head of Capital Projects & Planning, the role is pivotal to the success of this major capital project. The role is the central point of all inputs and outputs to the project, in conjunction with the other officers, committees and positions relating to a capital project as set out in the University’s Programme Management Office manual.

Responsibilities:
THE SPECIFIC PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE IS TO FILL AN ADMINISTRATIVE 1 VACANCY ON A TEMPORARY BASIS PENDING THE RETURN OF THE POSTHOLDER FROM MATERNITY LEAVE.
Hours of Post: 35 hours per week
Salary: This appointment will be made on the Administrative 1 (Points 1-6), Salary Scale (€68,181 - €107,959 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. (tcd.ie)
