Description

PROJECT MANAGER :

Clearance Required: Public Trust
Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000
Ops Tech Alliance is seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Project Manager to lead and coordinate delivery across multiple flagship programs. This role will serve as the primary point of coordination for all project planning, stakeholder communications, milestone tracking, and execution support across both efforts.
This position is not strictly limited to traditional project management responsibilities. In addition to managing timelines, risks, and deliverables, the successful candidate will also support essential operational and administrative activities that contribute to the success of these programs — such as venue coordination, document management, status reporting, and internal task tracking.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary project manager for the Office of the Chief Technology Officer
  • Lead project planning, resource coordination, scheduling, and delivery execution in alignment with customer expectations and contract requirements
  • Manage program documentation and trackers (e.g., burndown charts, milestones, schedules)
  • Facilitate internal and external communications, including status updates and stakeholder coordination
  • Support occasional administrative logistics such as venue bookings, catering arrangements, and task tracking updates
  • Ensure timely and complete delivery of contract requirements and internal objectives
  • Work cross-functionally with technical teams, challenge developers, government customers, and leadership
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support program success

Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
  • Proven experience in project or program management, preferably supporting government contracts
  • Familiarity with project tracking tools such as Asana, Jira, or Microsoft Planner
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle project oversight and task level execution
  • Experience using Microsoft 365 productivity tools (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on clarity and follow-through
  • Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment with minimal oversight

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience supporting federal government programs or cybersecurity competitions.
  • Lean Six Sigma (LSS) or Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) certification.
  • Familiarity with Agile project methodologies
