Job Description Project Manager Purpose of the role: We are currently looking for an extension of our team and have therefor a vacancy available for the role of Project Manager. Fulfilling this role, you will be managing technical projects from the earliest phases up to delivery, including commissioning and qualification, for the Organon manufacturing site in Oss. To deliver these projects upon Business objectives, you will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders: Production, Safety Health & Environmental, Quality, Finance, Maintenance, Procurement, etc. Welcome to our team: Engineering & Site Strategy is a Center of Excellence within Pharmaceutical Operations. You will report directly to the Portfolio Manager and will support the project implementation activities for Investment Projects at the manufacturing site in Oss. With an annual budget of 20 – 40 M€ the team realizes production scale-ups and modifications on facility and /or production equipment. Primary Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of project management, Including Quality, Safety, Scope, Costs, Resources and Timelines. Define starting points of the project with the respective sponsor and establish scope, budget, schedule, and quality requirements. Set up the project team structure in consultation with resource managers. Lead approximately 5 small to medium multi-disciplinary pharmaceutical projects per year, with an average annual volume of € 5–10 million. Manage both capital and expense projects related to pharmaceutical equipment renewal, building modifications, HVAC and utility systems, or a combination of these areas. Ensure execution of construction activities in compliance with Organon quality and safety standards. Arrange availability of working space, installations, and services for project execution. Develop conceptual design solutions, feasibility studies, and project definitions leading to approved proposals. Obtain approval for investment proposals in line with Organon project standards and requirements. Coordinate commissioning, start-up, and qualification of project deliverables. Ensure project completion, including as-built documentation, maintenance deliverables, and operator training. Required Education, Experience, & Skills: Bachelor’s degree (polytechnic or academic) in a technical field or similar through experience. Minimum of 4 years of work experience with industrial implementation projects. Experience with architectural and pharmaceutical equipment projects, and with the actual installation of technical systems. Communication skills, able to inspire and energize your project team (higher management and craftsmen); Safety First and Quality Always mindset ‘Self-starter’, independent, ability to prioritize. Proactive and “Go-see” attitude Service and customer oriented Communicate in Dutch and English (both verbal and in writing) Able to work with Microsoft Office.
