WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable, and a natural problem-solver. If you have:

Experience: 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in telecommunications, fiber deployment, or OSP operations.

  • Detail Orientation: Demonstrated ability to manage large datasets and maintain accuracy in all deliverables.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a remote setting.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication for clear and timely updates across multiple departments.
  • Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple large projects simultaneously.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with SiteTracker, MBS, and Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.
  • Understanding of fiber network build processes, permitting workflows, and OSP terminology.Experience working in a role with significant interdepartmental communication responsibilities.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The Project Manager in the Outside Plant Program Management Office (OSP PMO) is responsible for managing large-scale fiber deployment projects from initiation through completion. This fully remote position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. The Project Manager plays a critical role in coordinating communication between departments—including permitting, engineering, construction materials, and facilities—and serves as the primary liaison between OSP and Sales/Customer Support to ensure smooth execution of deployment schedules and customer commitments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Large Project Build Management

  • Manage planning, scheduling, and tracking of large-scale fiber deployment initiatives to meet project deadlines and quality goals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project data, schedules, and documentation in internal tracking systems.
  • Identify project risks or bottlenecks early and escalate to leadership when needed.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Review and update OSP files in SiteTracker, filtering and distributing new uploads to appropriate teams.
  • Conduct Residential reviews for overdue or missing items.
  • Update addressing information and perform batch uploads in MBS/SiteTracker.
  • Track permit status, ensuring timely updates from the permitting team and accurate entry into internal systems.

Weekly Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in coordination meetings with permitting, engineering, construction materials, and facilities teams.
  • Serve as the communication bridge between OSP operations and Sales/Customer Support to keep stakeholders informed of build timelines, project changes, and customer impact.
  • Update the passing schedule and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Document and distribute meeting notes, tracking follow-up actions to completion.

Monthly Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit Month-End Reports by reconciling SiteTracker and Excel data for accurate reporting.
  • Present project updates to key stakeholders and leadership
