Are you passionate about driving innovation, sustainability, and impactful projects? Join Outokumpu as a Project Manager and lead the installation of a state-of-the-art biocarbon production plant.
This €40 million investment is a cornerstone of Outokumpu’s mission to reduce climate impact by replacing fossil raw materials with sustainable alternatives. The plant will produce 15,000 tonnes of biocarbon annually, supporting the transition to biocoke in ferrochrome production—cutting direct emissions by up to 50%.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

What your mission with us will encompass:

• Oversee the full installation of the biocarbon production plant.
• Communicate project status, progress, and planning effectively.
• Cultivate and enforce a strong safety culture for all on-site personnel, including employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Ensure all workers are safety-trained per Outokumpu standards.
• Plan and execute installation, adhering to legal, EU, DIN, and Outokumpu requirements.
• Take accountability for achieving schedule and safety targets.
• Set clear project goals and ensure timely reporting of project status and progress.
• Organize and maintain a structured documentation system for all implemented systems.

What will help you to excel in this role:

• Proven experience in project management, particularly in industrial plant installations.
• Strong knowledge of safety, legal, and technical standards (EU, DIN, and industry-specific).
• Exceptional communication, planning, and organizational skills.
