• bachelors in construction management/technology or 4 years of commercial project engineering/project management
• 4 years of commercial/heavy commercial electrical experience or graduate of ABC or IEC to commensurate with degree or office experience
• Efficient in NEC code and finding answers to local codes
• (2) years of commercial estimating experience and familiar with Accubid Classic or Accubid Pro
• Experience with Blue Beam Software
• Project scheduling and methods to meet a balanced labor hour to project workflow and phasing of projects
• Preparing Close-out documents
• Contract Review and redlining documents for negotiations
• Project tracking of man hours and materials
• Attend project meetings when needed
• Formalize RFI’s
• Formalize Change Orders
• Familiar with standard AIA progressive billing documents
• Create schedule of values for projects that are trackable across company cost codes
• Create and formalize submittals and how to identify the needed information per the engineers request and spec. requirements
• Review BOM’s to ensure accuracy of ordered materials
• work G.C.’s and A/E’s to find solutions to supply chain issues
• Understands how to interpret project specs and efficiently find needed information within Division 26, 27, and 28
• Strong and thorough ability to interpret prints
• Develop relationships with G.C.’s and manage your team to build a repeat customer base
• Awareness of Government project and procedures and documents involved with these type of projects
• Review gear packages and lighting packages on site to verify counts and types are correct to the BOM
• Strong communication with your team(s)
• Experience with PRO-CORE is a plus
