ABOUT THE ROLE

Pembrokeshire Action for the Homeless (PATH) is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of our extended Pathway to Empowerment Project, thanks to renewed funding from the National Lottery Community Fund and the Garfield Weston Foundation.
This innovative project builds confidence and essential skills in numeracy, literacy, and digital learning among people at risk of homelessness or social exclusion. As Project Manager, you’ll take a hands-on leadership role, continuing to teach and support learners directly, while also guiding a small, committed team to deliver the programme with empathy, creativity and impact.
You’ll be responsible for project oversight, team coordination, learner outcomes, and wider stakeholder engagement. A key part of your role will also involve developing a new volunteer strategy to encourage community involvement in the project’s delivery and long-term sustainability.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Delivering tailored learning support in numeracy, literacy and digital skills to vulnerable adults
  • Leading, mentoring, and supporting tutors and project staff to ensure high-quality delivery
  • Overseeing project outcomes and producing progress reports for funders and stakeholders
  • Developing and implementing a volunteer engagement programme to support project delivery
  • Building community and partner relationships to promote the project and increase reach
  • Identifying opportunities for innovation, funding, and continuous improvement
