CSDD Content Project Manager Category Details Primary Focus The Content Project Manager (CPM) reports to the CSDD Manager and is responsible for delivering the full end-to-end content package, encompassing chapter, module, or lesson text; images; videos and animations; interactive learning tools; assessments; and supplemental resources, and final files on time, on budget, and to specification. The CPJM balances project requirements and resource constraints, drives process improvements to align execution with project goals, and ensures efficient delivery. They coordinate the efforts of editorial, learning design, media, vendor and QA teams, ensuring smooth execution of the content development process. The CPM is the single point of accountability for project execution, milestone tracking, and handoff to publishing or platform teams. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end delivery of all content and components for assigned titles, projects, and programs. Build, maintain and coordinate project workflow schedules, budgets, and resource plans (including internal and external contributors) across all content development workstreams. Manage and ensure deliverables from production vendors/external contributors meet established budget, schedule, and quality acceptance criteria. Track & report progress against milestones. Support platform migration and digital delivery efforts by coordinating tasks and tracking progress. Identify and share opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, streamline processes, and apply best practices across projects. Tools Used Project management platforms (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet), trackers, dashboards, MS Office suite, Alfresco, SharePoint, Confluence, Agile Workflow Role Oversees entire project lifecycle, pre-dev through post-production. Pedagogical Involvement Medium – leverages understanding of domain/discipline specific product and content requirements to ensure content project delivery aligns with instructional goals.
