The Project Manager will work with multi-disciplinary teams overseeing project staff and sub-contractors, providing guidance to ensure each project meets operational standards. This includes developing a detailed scope of work, budget and schedule, conducting risk management assessments and maintaining health, safety and environmental compliance. Duties and Responsibilities: Asset Health Register Compile a complete inventory of all mobile equipment. Assess current health status and condition of each asset. Establish a standardized health rating system. Preventive Maintenance (PM) Program Review existing PM schedules for mobile equipment. Identify gaps and inefficiencies in current PM practices. Develop and implement optimized PM plans aligned with OEM recommendations and operational needs. Lifecycle Analysis Evaluate lifecycle stages for all mobile assets. Determine replacement, refurbishment, and disposal strategies. Incorporate lifecycle costing into decision-making. Cost Analysis Collect historical maintenance and operating cost data. Forecast future costs based on lifecycle and usage patterns. Provide cost-benefit analysis for repair vs. replacement decisions. Asset Management Strategy Develop a long-term strategy for mobile equipment management. Align strategy with corporate reliability and sustainability goals. Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering (or a related technical background). Proficient with computers and standard office technology. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project. Experience with SAP or similar enterprise asset/project management software. Solid understanding of project management methodologies and principles. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting. Ability to manage multiple tasks, shift priorities, and meet project deadlines. Demonstrated active listening skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Proven experience in mobile equipment maintenance and reliability. Expertise in asset health monitoring and asset register development. Strong background in preventive maintenance planning. Knowledge of asset lifecycle management and cost analysis. Ability to develop and implement asset management frameworks.
