(PLA) is seeking experienced professionals to support the DC Water Potomac Interceptor Program, one of the region's major wastewater infrastructure rehabilitation initiatives. We are looking for motivated professionals with experience in large-diameter sewer rehabilitation, underground infrastructure, municipal utilities, and construction management. Project Manager – Potomac Interceptor Program Location DC Water Clean Rivers Facility (CMF Building), Blue Plains, Washington, DC Hybrid: Minimum 3 days per week in the office Experience Minimum 10 years of relevant engineering and project management experience Experience managing large sewer, water, wastewater, or underground utility rehabilitation projects Licensure Professional Engineer (PE) licensed in Maryland or Virginia, or Ability to obtain MD or VA PE through reciprocity within six (6) months of hire Key Responsibilities Serve as Project Manager for major sewer rehabilitation projects. Lead projects from planning, design, permitting, procurement, construction, and project closeout. Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk. Coordinate with DC Water staff, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies. Oversee design consultants and construction phase services. Review engineering deliverables, schedules, cost estimates, and technical reports. Lead project meetings and prepare executive-level status reports. Support procurement activities and contract administration. Ensure compliance with DC Water standards and regulatory requirements. Availability Immediate or within 1–3 months Compensation Up to $88/hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
