Description Enhanced Veterans Solutions, Inc. (EVS) is seeking a Project Manager/Planner (Program Manager II) to provide program management and project planning support for IT initiatives at McGuire Air Force Base. The successful candidate will organize, direct, and manage contract operations across multiple complex and inter-related projects. This role requires both technical and leadership expertise, ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and in compliance with Department of the Air Force (DAF) requirements. The Project Manager/Planner will serve as a key liaison between government leadership, contractors, and stakeholders. General Responsibilities Organize, direct, and manage contract operation support functions involving multiple complex projects. Provide direction and leadership to programmatic support staff in assigned project areas. Manage teams of contract support personnel across multiple locations. Maintain and manage senior-level client interfaces, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Meet with government and contractor personnel to review task plans, deliverables, and project progress. Ensure compliance with program schedules, cost constraints, and performance requirements. Prepare or direct the preparation of briefing materials for senior staff, executives, and oversight committees. Apply program management best practices, processes, and procedures to all assignments. Program-Specific Responsibilities Plan, manage, and close out IT projects in support of McGuire AFB missions. Initiate projects, oversee execution, and ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle. Lead and guide technical staff, ensuring alignment with project goals. Deliver budgetary and funding analysis for project planning and closure. Develop detailed project plans, requirements, and schedules to define scope and deliverables. Publish project plans, track progress against baselines, and manage risks/issues proactively. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and escalate concerns when necessary. Provide regular status updates and reports to government leadership. Interact with customers during project discovery, solution development, coordination, and briefings. Serve as liaison with other organizations and vendors, ensuring proper documentation and guidance. Stay current with emerging technologies relevant to base-level IT operations for adaptation into projects. Coordinate and attend project meetings and briefings as required. Create, prepare, and maintain technical and contractual project documentation, including closeout materials. Provide training and mentorship to subject-matter specialists and support staff. Resolve technical questions related to telecommunications protocols, modems, controllers, and system interfaces. Requirements Experience: 2–6 years of program or project management experience. Active Secret Clearance required. Demonstrated ability to plan, manage, and deliver complex IT projects. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience with budgeting, funding analysis, and cost management. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate across multiple organizations. Familiarity with current and emerging IT technologies relevant to base-level operations. PMP or other project management certification preferred but not required.
