Position Overview The Project Manager plays a key role in planning, coordinating, and executing logistics and supply chain initiatives across the organization. This role combines hands-on operational expertise with project leadership, ensuring shipments and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client expectations. This position requires strong ownership, clear communication, and the ability to lead people, processes, and priorities in a fast-paced environment. What you’ll do This is a hands-on leadership role. You will be responsible for both execution and guiding others. Requirements What we’re looking for 5+ years in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain Experience managing projects or leading teams Experience handling projects requiring crane & rigging operations Experience handling projects requiring barge, rail, and heavy haul transport Strong understanding of international shipping (air and ocean preferred) Ability to manage multiple priorities without losing attention to detail Comfortable holding others accountable and driving results Strong communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with project cargo, complex shipments, or multimodal logistics PMP or similar project management training Experience managing cross-functional teams and external partners Background in process improvement or systems implementation What success looks like Projects run smoothly with minimal escalations Clients trust you and rely on you Your team is accountable, responsive, and improving You anticipate issues before they become problems
