Description
Project Manager Do you enjoy leading projects and collaborating with great teams and clients? As a Project Manager at Povio, you’ll play a key role in making sure software development projects run smoothly. You’ll work closely with our clients and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals. About Us Born at Y Combinator - the legendary startup accelerator that launched Airbnb, Stripe, and Dropbox - Povio has grown from a small team into an international agency. We help startups and established companies design, build, and scale digital products that make an impact. We’ve worked with clients ranging from early-stage founders to global names like Volkswagen, Serena Williams, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. No matter the industry, we collaborate with ambitious teams that are building something meaningful. What You'll Do: Plan and manage project timelines, budgets, scope, and resources. Define project requirements in collaboration with clients and translate them into clear, actionable plans. Oversee day-to-day execution, ensuring the team knows what’s next and why. Set and track goals, deliverables, and deadlines to ensure successful project completion. Coordinate with designers, developers, QA engineers, and external partners. Keep the team motivated and address conflicts promptly. Communicate regularly and transparently with clients, providing updates, gathering feedback, and managing expectations. Identify opportunities to add value or expand work, collaborating with the team to upsell new features or services. Assess risks, analyze issues, and find practical solutions. Maintain hands-on involvement with project documentation and reporting. Contribute to team-wide improvements and share best practices across projects. What we look for: 5+ years of experience leading client-facing digital and software development projects from concept to delivery. Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking. Some flexibility and adaptability with working hours to meet project needs. Strong understanding of how digital products are built, from product strategy and design to architecture, development lifecycle, QA, and deployment. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, ideally in a fast-paced or agency environment. Ability to motivate teams and drive momentum, even in challenging situations. A deep understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and hands-on experience applying them in practice. Confident in managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery. Ability to communicate effectively between technical teams and business stakeholders, leading meetings, clarifying decisions, and keeping teams aligned. Proactive and solution-oriented individual, able to identify problems early and act without prompting. Full ownership of projects, with a focus on results, quality, and continuous improvement. A passion for technology and a strong desire to stay up to date with industry trends. What We Offer: Exciting Projects: Collaborate with world-leading companies, Hollywood stars, and influential startups, including The Pump by Arnold Schwarzenegger, Serena Williams, Volkswagen, and the founder of Reddit. Expert Team: Work with a select group of skilled professionals who are passionate and driven. Dynamic Environment: Be part of a fast-paced, innovative company where your work makes a direct impact. Competitive Compensation: Enjoy a package that reflects your expertise and contributions. Hybrid workspace If you’re a motivated Project Manager based in Slovenia or Kosovo and looking to grow your career, we’d love to hear from you. Have questions?
