Job Title: Project Manager – Power Allocation Optimization Implementation IV
Location: Calgary, AB
Our client is seeking a Project Manager – Power Allocation Optimization Implementation IV to join their team. As a Project Manager, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting critical operational initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage complex projects, which will align successfully in the organization.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders, facilitating cross-functional collaboration.
  • Manage the relationship with the third-party vendor, ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively while maintaining a risk register.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive training and change management plan to ensure operational readiness.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree is an asset.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification required; Agile/Scrum certification is a plus.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3 years in the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex software implementations involving third-party vendors.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
