Please visit our website: www.turnerandtownsend.com Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in heavy civils and energy infrastructure to lead complex projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing medium and high voltage systems, with a particular emphasis on substation works, ring main cabling, and large-scale renewable energy installations such as photovoltaic systems and geothermal/ground source heat pump systems. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of delivering high-value infrastructure projects in a regulated and safety-critical environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of energy-focused infrastructure projects from concept to completion. Manage multidisciplinary teams across civil, electrical, and environmental engineering. Oversee substation construction and commissioning, including HV/MV systems and ring main cabling. Coordinate the design and installation of renewable energy systems (solar PV, geothermal, ground source heat pumps). Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Manage budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies. Liaise with internal stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory bodies. Prepare and present project reports, updates, and documentation. Qualifications Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, or related discipline). Minimum 10 years’ experience in project management within heavy civils and energy infrastructure. Strong experience with substation projects and HV/MV electrical systems. Proven delivery of renewable energy systems (PV, geothermal, etc.). Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Familiarity with Irish construction and energy regulations is an advantage. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification preferred. Desirable: Experience working on Aviation or transport infrastructure projects. Knowledge of sustainability and carbon reduction strategies in infrastructure. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
