This role interprets regulations, develops and maintains compliance frameworks, creates policies, procedures, manages risk, and partners with cross-functional teams to embed compliance into all relevant processes.   Key Responsibilities Regulatory Interpretation:Interpret prevailing wage, start of construction and domestic content laws (e.g., Davis-Bacon, IRS classification) and translate them into actionable company policies and procedures. Compliance Frameworks:Develop, implement, and maintain the compliance strategy and governance playbook for prevailing wage and tax requirements. Risk Management:Design and manage Notice & Action Plan (NAP) frameworks to proactively identify, assess, and remediate compliance risks. Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with legal, HR, operations, and construction teams to ensure compliance is embedded in contracts and construction practices. Consultant Oversight:Oversee the effectiveness of external consultants and ensure their work aligns with compliance objectives. Audit & Reporting:Lead audit planning and reviews; and drive executive reporting and risk analysis related to compliance. Documentation:Create and maintain compliance documentation, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).   Skills Deep understanding of prevailing wage law, tax compliance, and regulatory frameworks. Strategic thinking and strong judgment in compliance matters. Risk management and mitigation expertise. Experience collaborating across functions and managing external consultants.
