Project Manager – Fabrication & Engineering Projects

Location: Dubai

Experience: 3–5 years in project management within oil & gas or heavy engineering

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3–5 years’ project management experience in oil & gas, fabrication, or heavy

engineering.

  • Knowledge of pressure vessels, modular skids, or piping systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication processes, welding, and QA/QC requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with international codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API) is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Project Engineering (or equivalent).
  • PMP or similar project management certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a proactive Project Manager to oversee fabrication and engineering projects,
including pressure vessels, modular skids, and pipe spool fabrication. The ideal candidate
will have a solid understanding of engineering and fabrication processes, combined with
strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.
This role is responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to specification,
while ensuring strict adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and manage project plans, defining scope, deliverables, schedules, and

resource requirements.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, fostering effective communication between

engineering, production, procurement, and QA/QC departments.

  • Monitor project costs, control budgets, and manage change requests to ensure

financial targets are met.

  • Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation and contingency plans

where required.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and HSE

regulations.

  • Track progress against key milestones, prepare regular status reports, and escalate

issues where necessary.

  • Facilitate smooth project handovers, ensuring documentation, quality records, and

final deliverables are complete.
