Description:
PROJECT MANAGER
On behalf of our client, Procom is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager a six (6) month engagement based in Burnaby, British Columbia. This client is pleased to offer a remote work model for this role.
Project Manager Job Details
- The Project Manager will lead the operations planning and transition to operations of the Health Program for the Province of BC. The Project Manager will be a member of a high-performing team working with other stakeholders including the Ministry of Health, Health Authorities and vendors.
- Develop/Manage project plans (budget, schedule, risk, etc) with input from Project Team Members and other stakeholders
- Develop program Target Operating Model
- Maintain and update program status reports and dashboard
- Participate in resource selection and evaluation
- Manage project scope change processes, and acquire approvals as required
- Track and report on project financials (budgeted, planned and spent)
- Provide forecast on resource usage in consultation with project leads
- Escalate significant issues that cannot be resolved by the Project Team
- Support transition of project deliverables to Operations
- Submit regular status reports to the Senior Management for review and approvals
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Project Manager Mandatory Skills
- A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in
- business, administration, project management including training and/or experience
- in leading and coordinating all aspects of current project
- Five (5) year’s recent, related experience in project management and facilitating and managing consultation processes with a wide range of stakeholder groups
- Ability to effectively navigate and deliver results in a large and complex environment
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholder groups
- Working knowledge of agile methodology
- Exceptional MS Office skills
Project Manager Nice-To-Have Skills
- Experience working in project controls or within BC Health Sector is highly preferred
- Project Management Professional designation
