PROJECT MANAGER:

Procom is searching for a Project Manager for a 1-year role. This position is remote, based in Winnipeg MB

PROJECT MANAGER - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Project Manager will oversee major programs, focusing on delivering enterprise-level projects that drive corporate and cultural change. The role involves managing the full project lifecycle, including vendor delivery, and ensuring successful migration and integration of legacy data streams.

PROJECT MANAGER - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in delivering enterprise-level projects
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing large vendor delivery during project execution
  • PMP Certification
  • Ability to manage complex project issues and risks
  • Ability to manage project financials and change management
  • Experience in team building and negotiating deliverables and timelines
  • Understanding of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies

PROJECT MANAGER – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Experience working on COTS related projects
  • Experience in the auto insurance industry (Property and Casualty)
  • Microsoft Project Online experience
  • Experience with Manitoba government entities
  • Experience within Financial projects
Responsibilities
  • Manage the project during initiation, design, development, implementation, and operations start-up
  • Formulate statements of problems and establish procedures for project elements
  • Define and document project objectives and determine budgetary requirements
  • Report project progress regularly
  • Meet with stakeholders and other project managers to address and solve problems
  • Prepare plans, charts, tables, and diagrams for problem analysis
  • Ensure all deliverables and milestones are completed as planned
  • Manage project change requests through the approved process
  • Develop and support project baseline schedules and work breakdown structures
  • Conduct critical path analysis and assist with schedule coordination
