Description:

PROJECT MANAGER

On behalf of our client, Procom is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager a six (6) month engagement based in Burnaby, British Columbia. This client is pleased to offer a remote work model for this role.

Project Manager Job Details

  • The Project Manager will lead the operations planning and transition to operations of the Health Program for the Province of BC. The Project Manager will be a member of a high-performing team working with other stakeholders including the Ministry of Health, Health Authorities and vendors.
  • Develop/Manage project plans (budget, schedule, risk, etc) with input from Project Team Members and other stakeholders
  • Develop program Target Operating Model
  • Maintain and update program status reports and dashboard
  • Participate in resource selection and evaluation
  • Manage project scope change processes, and acquire approvals as required
  • Track and report on project financials (budgeted, planned and spent)
  • Provide forecast on resource usage in consultation with project leads
  • Escalate significant issues that cannot be resolved by the Project Team
  • Support transition of project deliverables to Operations
  • Submit regular status reports to the Senior Management for review and approvals
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Project Manager Mandatory Skills

  • A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in
  • business, administration, project management including training and/or experience
  • in leading and coordinating all aspects of current project
  • Five (5) year’s recent, related experience in project management and facilitating and managing consultation processes with a wide range of stakeholder groups
  • Ability to effectively navigate and deliver results in a large and complex environment
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholder groups
  • Working knowledge of agile methodology
  • Exceptional MS Office skills

Project Manager Nice-To-Have Skills

  • Experience working in project controls or within BC Health Sector is highly preferred
  • Project Management Professional designation
