PROJECT MANAGER:

On behalf of our provincial crown corp client, Procom is searching for a Project Manager for a 1-year role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Calgary office.

PROJECT MANAGER - JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an intermediate Project Manager to oversee multiple projects, with the primary focus on a Business Intelligence system replacement. The current BI platform, DOMO, is undergoing a POC to determine the new technology, likely Microsoft Fabric or a combination of Microsoft Fabric and DataBricks.

PROJECT MANAGER - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• Strong understanding of business intelligence platforms.
• Experience in Microsoft Fabric and Databricks.
• Strong background in gathering and translating business requirements into technical deliverables.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing an RFP process.

PROJECT MANAGER – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Familiarity with SAP Concur.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated capability in teamwork.

• Manage the Business Intelligence system replacement project.
• Oversee smaller projects, including the implementation of SAP Concur and the rollout of Microsoft Copilot.
• Collaborate with a small internal team, acting as a business analyst, RFP writer, and change manager when necessary.
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
