PROJECT MANAGER:

On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Project Manager for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Mississauga office.

PROJECT MANAGER - JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an agile and diligent Project Manager to join our Markets Program Execution & Transformation team. This role involves overseeing the execution of transformative programs impacting Markets businesses, focusing on regulatory compliance and data solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage their project management expertise to ensure successful implementation and stakeholder engagement.

PROJECT MANAGER - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • Strong track record in strategic project management
  • Experience in Capital Markets Transformation or similar roles
  • Familiarity with Market Risk, Finance, and Capital concepts
  • Strong knowledge of data management practices
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and SQL
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to deliver effective data storytelling

PROJECT MANAGER – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Experience in managing Capital Markets and Regulatory-related projects
  • Familiarity with Markdown and/or Python
  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
  • Project Management certifications e.g., PMP
  • Thought leadership in target state design
Responsibilities
  • Support the Program Initiative lead(s) to drive strategic deliverables across multiple projects
  • Lead and participate in working groups, workshops, and stakeholder meetings
  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on business initiatives
  • Assist in socializing and approving tools, processes, and controls
  • Manage internal and external dependencies, collaborating with various teams
  • Identify challenges and resolve or escalate risks and issues
  • Engage senior stakeholders to resolve issues professionally
  • Produce accurate project update materials and artifacts
  • Build strong relationships to support program execution
  • Utilize modern AI tooling to improve project workflow and outcomes
