PROJECT MANAGER - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Municipal Investment Transformation (MINT) Project focuses on modernizing IT infrastructure by replacing high-risk applications and databases to improve security and update systems. The project aims to enhance data management, improve customer service delivery, and enable cross-ministerial data sharing for increased collaboration and efficiency.

PROJECT MANAGER - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification
• Experience managing complex COTS implementation projects in IT environments
• Commitment to work 100% onsite in Regina

PROJECT MANAGER – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Experience with provincial government agencies or similar environments
• Experience managing complex, large-scale transformation projects with public-facing components
• Strong interpersonal and governance framework navigation skills
• Experience overseeing third-party implementors and proprietary tech solutions
• Experience preparing comprehensive project documentation

• Develop and gain approval of the Detailed Project Plan
• Ensure adherence to PMI standards and project documentation
• Deliver project outputs on time, within budget, and to specification
• Ensure compliance with technical standards
• Manage integration points with related projects
• Monitor and report on scope, schedule, cost, and quality
• Manage and communicate risks
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and partners
• Develop and communicate change requests including cost and scope impacts
• Identify changes in resourcing requirements
