PROJECT MANAGER

On behalf of our insurance industry client, Procom is searching for a Project Manager for a 1-year role. This position is a remote position with the client’s office located in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

PROJECT MANAGER - JOB DESCRIPTION

The Project Manager will lead the implementation of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, focusing on end-to-end business case development and managing complex RFP processes. This role involves working closely with large software vendors and systems integrators, engaging both business and technology stakeholders at executive levels.

PROJECT MANAGER - MANDATORY SKILLS

  • Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in delivering enterprise-level projects
  • PMP Certification
  • Proven experience in managing large vendor deliveries during project execution
  • Ability to manage complex project issues and risks
  • Experience with organizational change management
  • Ability to translate team inputs into project delivery plans
  • Understanding of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies

PROJECT MANAGER – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

  • Experience working on COTS-related projects
  • Experience in the auto insurance industry
  • Experience with Microsoft Project Online
  • Experience in working with Manitoba government entities
  • Experience in insurance and/or licensing
Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end ERP implementation projects, including business case development
  • Manage complex RFP processes and vendor evaluations
  • Oversee project deliverables and track payment milestones
  • Drive governance forums and present project status updates to executive committees
  • Manage project financials, risks, and change management processes
  • Ensure all deliverables and milestones are completed as planned
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and work breakdown structures
