Description
Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional projects in modular data center and advanced cooling deployments (AI factories, hyperscale retrofits, edge sites) Own scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality for multi-million-dollar programs involving global suppliers, customers, and internal engineering teams Drive rigorous project governance: maintain live WBS, critical path, RAID log, change control, and executive dashboards Facilitate and chair all core project meetings (kick-off, daily stand-ups, steering committees, design reviews, FAT/SAT) Proactively identify risks, develop mitigation and contingency plans, and escalate with solutions, never just problems Ensure flawless handover to operations/customer success including as-built documentation, training, spare parts, and lessons-learned closure Act as the single point of accountability and champion for the project internally and with the customer Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001, customer quality requirements, and export-control regulations Global work enfironment across multiple time zones Required Qualifications & Experience 4–8 years of hands-on project management experience delivering hardware/electro-mechanical systems (preference for data center infrastructure, cooling systems, power distribution, or rack integration) Strong technical acumen in at least one of: mechanical, electrical, thermal, or structural engineering as it applies to data center equipment Experience working directly with R&D, engineering, manufacturing, quality, and field service teams Formal project management training/certification highly preferred Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field strongly preferred Fluent business English (written & spoken); additional languages a plus Willingness to travel internationally occasionally Critical Success Traits Obsessive attention to detail combined with ability to see the big picture Natural leader who can motivate cross-functional teams without direct authority Comfortable pushing back, saying “no” when needed, and defending the plan Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with multiple competing priorities Excellent communicator – can translate technical complexity into clear updates for executives and customers alike
