SCHOOL OF CREATIVE ARTS OFFICE OF THE DEAN OF CREATIVE ARTS Project Manager / Project Assistant Manager (25260383) The School of Creative Arts (SCA) is comprised of three well-established academic units: the Academy of Film, the Academy of Music, and the Academy of Visual Arts. Established on July 1, 2022, SCA is dedicated to nurturing future-ready talents for Hong Kong and beyond, while making a significant impact on society through innovative research and transdisciplinary studies. The School is now seeking a high-calibre, dedicated, mature and self-motivated individual to join the Dean’s Office. Responsibilities: Lead the planning, development, and execution of large-scale event; Support the School’s daily operations, provide secretarial services and prepare reports with internal and external units/parties; and Perform any other duties as assigned. Requirements: A recognised bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in project management; Proven experience in project management, preferably in tertiary education sector; Manage the implementation of promotion and publicity activities, events and developmental projects; Excellent organisational skills and communication skills; Provide high-level administrative support, preparation of papers and reports; Experience in developing and managing large-scale, multidisciplinary and cross-sectoral projects in collaboration with industry partners; Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); Meticulousness, good interpersonal and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility; Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team; and Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word are required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written/skills assessment. Applicants with less relevant work experience may be considered for the post of Project Assistant Manager. The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of one year. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
