The intensity of growth and investment in City of Parramatta means that Council, their partners, and community have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to shape the City’s future and ensure it is culturally, socially, environmentally, and economically sustainable.  About the role  This position is responsible for the successful delivery of major projects within agreed budget, program, scope and quality standards, ensuring compliance with the City of Parramatta Council (Council) strategic objectives. It provides effective program, project management and reporting to service the requirements of Council and is tasked with providing the highest level of certainty of delivery as early as possible in the development process.  On a daily basis you will:   * Identify, manage, and monitor project risk * Manage internal and external stakeholders * Manage design and approval processes * Procure and manage contractors and consultants * Manage contracts and agreements * Develop progress and financial reports and forecasts   About You  The successful candidate will bring:  * Minimum 5 years experience working for a building contractor in Project and/or Contracts Management roles; * Project Management and Property experience within Local / State Government environments;   * Experience in Design & Construct delivery methodology, procurement, and contract management; * Preparation and management of project / development related controls: contracts, agreements, programs, reports; * Recent / current building project and development work involving management of contractors and consultants.      Qualifications:  * Suitable tertiary qualifications in either project management, architecture, engineering, property development, building science or related degree.   What’s on offer We are offering an attractive remuneration from $138,124 to $152,133 plus 12% superannuation.
