Description

In the fast-growing small satellite market, we are looking for a project manager to strengthen the R&D department. You will be involved in technology development projects for smallsat systems. This can be both satellite- and ground-based equipment. In this international and dedicated team, you are responsible for the success of the project, and for coordinating teams at every stage of the project life-cycle. You work closely together with engineers, partners, and stakeholders, to deliver on time, within scope and within budget, balancing between technical- and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities
  • Setting up and controlling the planning, milestones, costs, and scope (including making reports).
  • Coordinating and managing the engineering team, equipment and access to facilities on a daily basis.
  • Maintaining the relationship with stakeholders both within and outside ISISPACE.
  • Creating comprehensive project documentation and taking an active role in maintaining it.
  • You have a degree in a relevant subject.
  • 5+ years of experience with complex technical systems, including experience with project management.
  • Good understanding of the needs of complex technology development. You should have an interest in technology itself and why technology development is important for an engineering organization.
  • Excellent and straightforward communication skills including the ability to translate complex information into easy-to-understand language.
  • Energetic team player who can engage with both the engineering team as well as other stakeholders.
  • A forward-looking and solution-driven work ethic whilst maintaining an eye for detail.
  • Solid organizational skills
