  • Stakeholder & Change Management: Act as a change agent by building strong working relationships, facilitating workshops, leading project boards, and managing resistance to new ways of working.
  • Delivery & Budget Oversight: Monitor project milestones, manage delegated project budgets, and track cost-improvement plans (CIP) to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Service Transition & Training: Conduct baseline/benefits analyses, oversee benefits realization, and design/deliver end-user training to clinical and non-clinical staff.
  • Reporting & Escalation: Provide regular progress updates (using RAG status and highlight reports) to senior management forums, management teams, and executive boards.
  • Mentorship: Coach and support junior project management and business analyst team members.

Candidate RequirementsQualifications

  • Degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • Recognised Project Management certification (e.g., APM PMQ / PRINCE2 or equivalent experience).

Experience & Knowledge

  • Proven experience in delivering complex, large-scale projects and change initiatives in a large organization.
  • Hands-on experience applying formal project and change management principles.
  • Strong knowledge of data protection, Information Governance, and process mapping.
  • Desirable: Familiarity with clinical environments, SystmOne, or Patient Administration Systems.

Core Skills & Attributes

  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with strong skills in data interpretation, problem-solving, and financial tracking.
  • Independent and adaptable, capable of managing competing priorities under pressure.
  • Travel: Ability to make independent travel arrangements across sites.
