The Position
Neelands has an opportunity for a Project Manager, Refrigeration Construction, to join our team in Burlington, Ontario. This role will be reporting to the Construction Manager.

Description of duties and responsibilities

  • Managing construction projects across Ontario
  • Preparing various types of proposals
  • Managing teams for commercial and light industrial facilities installations, renovations, and design builds
  • Preparing budget estimates and construction costs for mechanical requirements
  • Ensuring timely delivery of services, materials, and equipment
  • Ensuring client satisfaction throughout the life cycle of the project
  • Preparing specifications and technical reports
  • Tracking and maintaining detailed files for site-specific activities
  • Issuing purchase orders and ordering of equipment
  • Supplier Engagement – Build relationships with key suppliers, look for new suppliers, sourcing, shipping.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years experience in Refrigeration/HVAC Project Management
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints for project estimation
  • Knowledge of construction codes applicable to mechanical building systems
  • Technical knowledge of refrigeration, and electrical systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite
