Description Position Summary The Project Manager at Control Specialists, Inc. (CSI), a Relevant Industrial Company, is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of projects in the areas of combustion, process control, and automation systems. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers and internal teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with technical and quality standards. The Project Manager collaborates with engineering, field service, sales, and operations teams to deliver customized industrial solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution Develop detailed project plans, including scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements. Coordinate project tasks across engineering, field service, purchasing, and fabrication teams. Monitor project progress and adjust schedules or resources as needed to meet deadlines. Manage project budgets, track costs, and ensure financial targets are met. Customer & Stakeholder Management Act as the main point of contact for assigned projects, maintaining strong communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams. Conduct regular project status meetings with clients and provide progress updates. Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers by delivering excellent service and support. Technical Oversight Review engineering drawings, schematics, and system designs to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements. Support project teams with technical expertise during project planning, implementation, and commissioning. Ensure adherence to applicable codes, standards, and customer specifications (e.g., NFPA standards for combustion systems). Risk, Quality & Compliance Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing corrective actions when necessary. Ensure compliance with all company safety procedures and industry regulations. Oversee quality control procedures to ensure deliverables meet specifications and performance expectations. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and change orders. Provide management with regular project performance reports, including timelines, costs, and resource utilization. Collaboration & Support Work closely with sales and business development teams to provide input on project estimates and proposals. Support commissioning and post-project support efforts to ensure customer satisfaction. Mentor junior project staff on project management best practices and technical aspects of industrial controls and combustion systems Requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial) or equivalent technical experience required. 5+ years of experience in project management within industrial controls, automation, or combustion systems. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of control systems, industrial instrumentation, or combustion processes. Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project) and project management software. PMP certification or equivalent project management training is a plus. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Office-based with regular visits to manufacturing and customer sites. Travel to customer locations, vendors, and field service sites as required (up to 25%).
