Overview:
GovCIO is seeking a versatile Project Manager to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Platform Project. This position is fully remote.
Responsibilities:

Candidates will be responsible for client interactions and ensuring coordination and outcomes are accomplished. The environment is dynamic, and the client needs are evolving. Flexibility and forward-thinking views are important for success.

• Problem solver who assesses requests, determines the necessary tasks, then organizes the team to successfully accomplish the work
• Tracks and monitors project financials and level of effort projections and what if analysis
• Supervises professional and technical support personnel performing in their regular disciplines
• Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
• Coordinates with government leads and development teams to assess automation requests and assists those development teams through the software lifecycle
• Assesses issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
• Manages initiative level Jira board
• Facilitates initiative roadmap planning
• Prepares initiative metric reporting weekly, monthly, for the data product line quarterly scorecards, and other reports as needed
• Facilitates initiative level status meetings
• Ensures proper SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence stakeholder access provisioning

Qualifications:

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Resource Management, Industrial Engineering, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Operations Research or related fields, AND
• 8+ years of relevant experience, OR
• Masters and 1 year of relevant experience
• Strong management and project execution experience
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Ability to identify and mitigate risks
• Experience managing Agile teams
• Experience using Jira or similar tool to organize and manage team’s work
• Strong analytical and investigative skills with ability to make recommendations, and a relentless resolve to bring new ideas or iterations
• Flexibility, ingenuity, creativity, diplomacy, and a willingness to learn and adapt
• Experience working within distributed teams and remote environments
• Proficient in use of Microsoft tools – PowerPoint, MS Teams, Word, and Excel

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience working within VA OIT
• Experience with Jira to capture project tasks, risks, and progress
• Experience with SharePoint
  Clearance Required: Ability to obtain a Public Trust / Suitability clearance

  Posted Pay Range
  The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
  Posted Salary Range: USD $140,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr
