Description Project Manager, Renewables Engineering Westwood Professional Services, Inc. Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to join our Renewables Engineering team. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex and/or multi-service renewable energy engineering projects for Westwood. They will ensure the successful completion of projects within scope, schedule, and budget, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and delivering high-quality results. The Project Manager will also provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members and collaborate with service leads to coordinate project activities. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex and/or multi-service renewable energy engineering projects supporting utility-scale solar developments. You will ensure the successful completion of projects within scope, schedule, and budget, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and delivering high-quality results. In addition, you will provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members and collaborate with service leads to coordinate project activities. Responsibilities: Full accountability on multiple renewable energy engineering projects: Manage stakeholder relationships, both internal and external. Coordinate and manage project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Develop and implement project plans, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed. Oversee project work and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and contractual obligations. Track project health and take corrective action when necessary. Manage uncertainty and change, such as scope creep and change orders. Ensure timely invoicing and accounts receivable collection. Coordinate with internal engineering teams including civil, electrical, and environmental disciplines. Serve as the primary point of contact for EPC clients and developers. Ensure engineering deliverables align with EPC project schedules and construction milestones. Requirements Required Skills: Outgoing, friendly, approachable Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Ability to manage staff and direct resources effectively Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization Demonstrated ability to manage design projects in a profitable manner Understanding of alternative delivery methods Extensive knowledge of geometric design and other related design elements Knowledge and experience with the full roadway project lifecycle from preliminary studies through final design General knowledge of construction with experience providing construction phase services Track record of successfully winning and delivering projects Experience in accounts receivable, invoicing, and overall duties involved in managing a design team Experience preparing proposals, scopes of work and qualification packages Experience developing and implementing marketing pursuit strategies Ability to develop relationships with peers, clients, and public agency staff. Ability to coach and motivate others Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or project management related field 5–7 years of experience in a project coordinator, engineering project management, or similar role Professional licensure in a technical field or ability to obtain PMP certification\ Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Proficiency in project management software and tools Attention to detail and ability to multitask Problem-solving and decision-making abilities Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities About Westwood Professional Services, Inc.
