  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, partner operations, program management, partner successor similar
  • PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications (highly desirable)
  • Experience scoping and managing multi-month / multi-year projects with multiple interdependent work streams preferred
  • Experience gathering requirements and prioritizing; you know how to make difficult trade-offs daily to move work forward
  • Experience crafting highly effective work products, from project plans to slide decks
  • Ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information in a tactful manner
  • Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in Asana (or a comparable PM tool) and Google Workspace
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re searching for a Project Manager to contribute to ReUp Education’s growth. The goal of ReUp’s Marketplace is to help connect adult learners with the right next step in their educational careers - whether that’s a community college, a 4-year university, or a workforce-aligned bootcamp. The Project Manager will ensure that critical projects and workstreams are managed effectively and lead to strong student outcomes.
The ideal candidate has experience with complex, cross-departmental work plan development and keen progress oversight skills. Their primary responsibilities will include managing various projects from start to finish and helping to execute specific goals related to ReUp’s partnerships with states. The Project Manager will be a critical member of the team, working cross functionally to create and maintain an efficient and productive environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop detailed project plans with clear schedules, managing the lifecycle of each project
  • Deliver high quality projects on time and within budget
  • Establish strong working relationships with departments across ReUp
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, scope, and delegate to others based on expertise and time constraints
  • Facilitate communication between all relevant parties regarding progress, issues, and metrics
  • Set up and run all necessary meetings - kick-offs, internal reviews, status meetings, and development checkpoints
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify blockers and recommend solutions
  • Develop templates that create replicable models for internal tasks and processes
  • Create high quality communication materials, including decks for internal and external audiences
