Description Classification: Exempt Reports To: COO Summary/Objective The Project Manager is responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, executive, control, and completion of projects for the Riverence Group of companies while remaining aligned with the strategy, commitments, and goals of the organization. Essential Functions Plan and implement projects across the Riverence Group of companies Help define project scope, goals and deliverables Define tasks and required resources Manage the project budget Allocate project resources Create project schedules and timelines and track the progress of projects Support and provide direction to team members assigned to projects Allocate resources and ensure the projects have the right team to complete it Report on projects status on a regular basis Present reports on progress as well as problems and solutions Implement and manage changes when necessary to meet project deliverables Evaluate and assess the result of the project Assure projects meet all standards Manage risk by Identifying, evaluating, and preventing or mitigating risks that could affect the projects Manage vendor/contractor relationships ensuring professional relationships Communicate effectively with vendors ensuring scheduling is effective and resolving conflicts while maintaining the relationship Other duties as assigned Requirements Competencies Leadership High Level Communication Proficiency Organization/Time Management Presentation Skill Results Driven/Initiative Supervisory Responsibility Supervision of projects Work Environment This job operates in various environments including but not limited to; outdoor environments, office environments, shop/manufacturing environments. May be exposed to loud noises, inclement weather, running/standing water, and moving machinery. Physical Demands This role requires walking, lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time. This position requires the ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds and fine hand movements. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This position workday will be Monday-Friday and weekends as needed. Hours of work will vary on the needs of the assigned projects Travel Travel is up to 25-50% including overnight and travel for extended amounts of time. Required Education and Experience Exceptional written and oral communication skills required Valid Driver’s License and good driving record required Excellent communication skills Problem-solving and leadership skills Project planning, risk management, time management, and other project management skills Experience in strategic planning, risk management, and/or change management Proficiency in project management software and tools Conflict resolution experience Preferred Education and Experience Experience in the aquaculture industry Project management qualification (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or equivalent experience as a project manager Contract negotiation/Vendor Relations experience Bachelor's Degree in a related field Additional Eligibility Qualifications None Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
