Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Project Manager - Client Onboarding based in London, you will play a crucial role in guiding hedge fund clients through every step of their integration into the business. Your day-to-day activities will involve acting as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring that all aspects of their onboarding are handled with precision and care. You will be responsible for orchestrating complex projects that require close attention to detail across documentation, regulatory compliance, technology set-up, and stakeholder communication. By hosting regular client calls and managing escalations swiftly, you will foster trust and satisfaction among high-value clients. Your ability to educate clients on operational matters while identifying areas for process improvement will contribute directly to both client success and organisational growth. Success in this role hinges on your capacity for cross-functional collaboration, your deep understanding of financial products and regulations, and your commitment to delivering an outstanding client experience.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the onboarding process, ensuring all pre-trade execution requirements are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Sales, Trading, Credit, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to facilitate comprehensive client launches.
  • Oversee the completion of all necessary documentation, KYC processes, regulatory items, and technology integrations prior to scheduled launch dates.
  • Host regular calls with clients to manage go-live processes, promptly surfacing and resolving any issues or escalations that arise.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients by providing value-added education on operational setups, reporting tools, products, and the full onboarding lifecycle.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on entity structures, jurisdictions, regulatory requirements, and a wide range of traded products to support both clients and internal teams.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline onboarding procedures and enhance current technologies in order to mitigate risk and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal specialists to instil best practices for clients while supporting business growth initiatives.
  • Prioritise accounts in partnership with stakeholders to ensure timely progress through each stage of the onboarding journey.
