JOB SUMMARY

As Project Manager for Romac Logistics, you will be responsible for managing the implementation of systemic projects, new site startups, and process improvement initiatives. You will be a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to drive project success. You will possess extensive experience in implementing complex IT projects and managing new site startups within the logistics sector.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the transport and warehouse logistics industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing complex IT projects and new site startups.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), transport management systems (TMS), and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Strong background in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of IT systems and their application in transport and warehouse operations. Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana).
  • Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage crossfunctional teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving:Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations and develop effective solutions. Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs. Strong resilience and problem-solving abilities to handle unexpected challenges.
