This is an exciting time to join the team as we step up operations in new countries and commence work on new and challenging projects. As a result of this growth, we're looking to hire an experienced Construction Project Manager based in our Gatwick office (working on a hybrid basis). The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of data centre construction projects by coordinating site managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure programmes of work are executed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role oversees the planning and control of project costs, resources, and timelines, ensuring delivery aligns with contractual obligations and client expectations. The Project Manager also ensures full compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM), promoting a safe working environment and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle. About the role: The responsibilities of this role will be varied and includes: * General Management: oversee project delivery, ensure compliance with company policies, and represent the organisation professionally. * Project Administration: manage pre-contract activities, maintain accurate records, and ensure site inductions and documentation are completed. * Project Information: review and communicate design details, monitor progress against targets, and identify specialist requirements. * Site Communications: coordinate meetings, share updates, and ensure actions are completed to keep projects on track. * Health & Safety: maintain and update safety documentation, monitor compliance on-site, and ensure training and welfare standards are met. * Planning: develop and manage project programmes, organise resources, and address progress issues proactively. * Commercial Information: monitor budgets and margins, manage variations and risks, and support pricing for new tenders. * Supplier Management: coordinate subcontractors, validate methods of work, and ensure activities align with project timelines. * Project Completion: oversee inspections, handover presentations, and ensure all certification and documentation are delivered.
