JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client, an esteemed financial services firm, is seeking a Project Manager at Senior Associate level to join their team in London on a 12-month contract basis.
You will be responsible for supporting the team in the execution of key strategic and regulatory projects.
This role offers hybrid working, with a requirement for 3-4 days in the office per week.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Solid experience with project management and execution in financial services setting (investment management preferred), ideally as part of a recognised consulting firm or equivalent organisation
  • Business management skills, persistence and determination, attention to detail, adaptability and ability to organise your time and workload
  • Project / change management experience with other asset managers will be welcome
  • Strong teamwork and people skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in our London office in person for a minimum of 3 days/week
Responsibilities
  • Carry out meetings and facilitate workshops, preparing documentation and taking and writing up notes in an appropriate format when required
  • Help manage day-to-day project execution
  • Help prepare materials, reports, presentations, research and other documents as required
  • Working with the team members to help develop project plans and deliver projects to a high standard and within budget
  • Help to maintain good records including up-to-date project plan, working group and SteerCo materials and notes as required
  • Track action items, monitor progress and follow-up with the stakeholders
