JOB SUMMARY:

KBR is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager / Senior Program Analyst to join our team supporting PMA-281 Strike Planning and Execution Systems. The successful candidate will manage a project as a lead specialist supporting the general government Program Manager.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university and 7-10 years of experience. In lieu of a degree, 15 or more years of relevant experience is required.
  • A current Top-Secret clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 5 years is required. Contract requires US citizenship.
  • Must be able to travel as contract requires.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be able to work in a dynamic, complex security environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office, including Project, and Adobe products.
  • Professionalism and customer service.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent certification.
  • Prior project management experience within DOD.
Responsibilities
  • Serves as a project manager and an overall trusted agent within the Navy MPS (Mission Planning Systems) program.
  • Responsible for handling task specific questions and engage in advanced problem solving.
  • Tracks project progress, funding and schedules.
  • Leads and coordinates with project stakeholders, to include status reports and general deliverable reports.
  • Serve as the lead contact for ship installations and facilitates multiple military force structure and project implementations.
  • The role benefits from a working knowledge of DOD, industry, and Navy security standards.
  • This role will involve at least 10% travel.
  • This position is not eligible for remote work; on-site support is required.
