Job Description


As a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of complex healthcare projects and programs, acting as the primary interface between clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders. This role is ideal for an experienced project professional with a passion for delivering healthcare environments that support exceptional patient care, operational excellence, and future healthcare needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver healthcare projects, acting as the key client contact throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Build strong relationships with healthcare stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and clinical teams.
  • Manage project planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
  • Monitor project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects meet operational and patient care needs.
  • Manage contracts, vendors, and consultants to support successful project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and healthcare regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to client development and business growth initiatives.


Qualifications

  • Degree qualification in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • 5-10+ years' project management experience, within healthcare, hospitals, aged care, life sciences, or complex infrastructure environments.
  • Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle from planning and design through to construction and commissioning.
  • Proven experience managing budgets, risks, contracts, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Knowledge of healthcare facility requirements, compliance standards, and operational environments is highly regarded.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills; experience with MS Project or Primavera is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Client-focused, proactive, and driven to deliver high-quality outcomes.
