Job Description RESPEC, a nationally recognized, 100% employee-owned engineering consulting company is seeking an engineer to support design and project management services at our Dallas, Texas office, located in Richardson. This role will contribute to a wide range of water resources engineering projects including, planning, designing, management, and specialty services, and may contribute to other civil engineering projects. We are looking for a collaborative team player who consistently produces high-quality work, meets project requirements, delivers on schedule, and effectively manages multiple priorities. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have the following: A Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering or a related engineering field A Professional Engineer license in Texas or ability to obtain within six months A minimum of 10 years of experience designing engineering projects for public sector clients, including 3 years with project management responsibilities Skilled in coordinating with multiple clients, review agencies, and design team members on an ongoing basis Proficient with proposal writing, budgeting, and project financial management Excellent oral and written communication skills Additional preferred experience includes the following: Excellent organizational skills Established relationships with Texas clients Participation in business development activities Managing teams of engineers and developing early career engineers Developing and guiding construction plan packages and/or stormwater master planning studies AutoCAD/Civil3D and GIS Practical application of the various hydrology/hydraulics software, including HEC-RAS (1D/2D preferred), HEC-HMS, SWMM, and HY-8 Construction oversight of project installations Additional Information Compensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise.
