Responsibilities

The Project Manager for Lightweight Structures and Facades is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex engineering projects. The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring that projects meet technical, financial, and scheduling objectives, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of innovative facade systems and lightweight structures. By combining these strengths, the Project Manager ensures that each project upholds the highest standards of quality and engineering excellence while meeting client expectations.

  • Project Planning and Initiation:
  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, and architects to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
  • Identify and assemble cross-functional teams, assigning roles and responsibilities to meet project requirements.
  • Project Execution and Control:
  • Oversee project schedules to ensure timely completion of milestones and final deliverables.
  • Monitor project budgets, addressing cost overruns and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Manage changes in project scope, timeline, or budget, ensuring minimal disruption to overall project goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Assist the Project Director to serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are consistently met.
  • Facilitate collaboration between engineering, procurement, and construction teams to align project activities.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure quality and adherence to project requirements.
  • Quality Assurance and Risk Management:
  • Implement quality assurance and control measures to ensure deliverables meet design specifications and industry standards.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies, monitoring them throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with local regulations, safety standards, and organizational policies.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Inspire and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
  • Address and resolve any team conflicts or challenges, maintaining focus on project objectives.
  • Monitor team performance, providing feedback and support to ensure individual and collective success
  • Reporting and Documentation:
