Job Title: Project Manager – High-Rise Buildings (Contracting Experience)Location: United Arab EmiratesJob Type: Full-TimeJob Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Project Manager with a strong background in the UAE construction industry, particularly in the execution of high-rise buildings. The ideal candidate must have proven experience working with contracting companies, overseeing complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget, and in compliance with local regulations and international standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 10–15 years of UAE experience in construction project management.
  • Must have managed at least 2–3 high-rise building projects (20+ floors).
  • Contracting background is mandatory – experience with leading UAE contracting companies preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of UAE construction laws, permits, and authority approvals (e.g., Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DEWA, etc.).
  • Strong command of project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6.
  • PMP certification is an advantage.

SKILLS:

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
  • Strong technical knowledge of structural, MEP, and finishing works.

Responsibilities
  • Project Planning & Execution:
  • Lead end-to-end project management of high-rise building construction.
  • Develop and monitor detailed project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures.
  • Ensure alignment with project scope, objectives, and contractual obligations.
  • Contracting & Site Coordination:
  • Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and authorities for smooth execution.
  • Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Handle contract administration, including claims, variations, and change orders.
  • Team & Resource Management:
  • Manage and coordinate project teams including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
  • Allocate resources efficiently and resolve any project-related issues or delays.
  • Monitor labor productivity and performance against milestones.
  • Cost Control & Budgeting:
  • Track project costs, manage budgets, and forecast potential financial risks.
  • Approve procurement schedules and monitor material usage and deliveries.
  • Quality & Compliance:
  • Ensure strict adherence to QA/QC standards and procedures.
  • Work closely with HSE teams to maintain a safe working environment on site.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication:
  • Provide regular progress updates and reports to senior management and clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters.
