We are currently looking for a fulltime Sheet Metal Project Manager to join our team!

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Good mathematical and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize workloads and utilize planning & time management skills to adhere to strict deadlines

  • Ability to accurately estimate work
  • Ability to understand and communicate advanced construction concepts
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office, Project and Procore)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Completion of an Engineering Degree or CET would be an asset
  • Journeyperson ticket
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience required, within construction

  • Travel may be required

Responsibilities

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain positive and professional relationship with all customers, external and internal
  • Make constructive suggestions to the Division Manager on improving procedures, productivity and efficiency
  • Attend site walkthroughs for open tenders
  • Review and approve all tender documents/take-offs/estimates with estimator prior to submitting quotes
  • Follow up on closed tenders
  • Provide budget numbers upon request for potential work
  • Prepare quotes upon request
  • Bring in new business and clientele
  • Entertain clients in order to build business rapport
  • Review and update estimating numbers as per historical data as needed
  • Attend any internal office meetings and/or training
  • Other duties as required
