  Thomas Sign & Awning, an award-winning National Sign Company in Clearwater, FL designs, manufactures and installs illuminated and non-illuminated signage.  Thomas Sign is searching for an organized Individual to join our expanding Project Management team.   The Project Manager is responsible for supporting sales on multiple sign projects, from the initial customer contact to the final installation. JOB DESCRIPTION * Provides support to sales on multi-location projects.  * Manages projects from sale through completed installations.  * Communicates with customers and responds to inquiries or complaints regarding both products and services.  * Responsible for tracking the status of projects and communicating with both customers and internal personnel.  * Serves as the interface with subcontract installers and service providers in remote locations. * When problems occur, coordinates resolution with appropriate departments and follows up, either verbally or in writing, to ensure customer satisfaction.  * Informs customers of standard procedures and status of problem solving as necessary.  * Knowledgeable of company policies, procedures, practices, products, and services.  * Experience in customer service and in handling all communications in a highly professional manner. * Responsible for continuous improvement of processes and procedures used on the job, and for assisting in the improvement of related company-wide processes. JOB SKILLS * High level of communication skills, with clear professional telephone voice * Experience in the sign industry or in closely related field of manufacturing or construction * Computer skills, preferably Windows XP and MS Office including Access * Well organized and efficient * Assertive when appropriate * Familiar with all process steps in the design, construction, and installation of complete sign packages is helpful * Ability to analyze a variety of situations and effectively solve problems * Experienced in coordination of many projects simultaneously * Able to build solid “partner” relationships with both customers and subcontractors on behalf of Thomas Sign Co.
