Position Summary: The Project Manager is involved in all aspects of a project including supervising construction projects in any establishment, from the initial phases of the project to its completion. This entails ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget; completed on time within constraints, whether budgetary or otherwise. Essential Functions: Under the direction and guidance of the Senior Project Manager: Review assigned projects with company executives, sales and engineering (contracts, takeoffs, quotes, written agreements, job documents, leveling sheet, architectural details, scope of work, budgets, etc.). Assess for any inclusions, exclusions, and alternates as well as risk in concept, design, or plan. Coordinate for, and maintain relationships with: internal equipment and logistics resources, company factory, and field operations for effective scheduling, installation, and problem resolution, suppliers/vendors, GC, CM, Owner on project status, design & weekly meetings, in/out of scope adds, scheduling, fabrication, installation, and schedule. Gather costs to create and submit change orders where required. Generate schedules for project submittals, fabrication, and installation and submit all documents through submittal system. Monthly coordination with Accounting Dept. for project billing; advise on % of contract SOV items completed. Monitor resource availability and allocations. Report and escalate matters to upper management as needed. Communicates and maintains comprehensive project documentation. Maintains relationships with third parties, vendors and both internal and external clients. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Solid organizational skills, time management, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Working Knowledge of MS Project. Construction software experience preferred Experience & Education: College degree in a related field (construction management, engineering, etc.) is a plus 2 years’ experience in Project Management within the construction field or a similar role required. Direct industry experience a plus Physical Requirements: Ability to move about active construction sites, including walking, standing, climbing stairs or ladders, and navigating uneven terrain for extended periods. Use of computer, both visual and keyboard Ability to wear and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hat, safety glasses, high-visibility vest, gloves, and fall-protection gear. Ability to travel between project sites and company offices as needed.
